Lincoln Police Officer in Serious Condition After Wreck in Mansfield

A police officer from Lincoln is in serious condition at the hospital today after a serious off-duty wreck on the highway in Mansfield.
Massachusetts State Police tell ABC6 that 41 year-old Philip Gould was heading south on Rt 95 around 1030 last night when he lost control of his Chevrolet Trailblazer, crossed the median and rolled over. The road was closed for about two and a half hours. There were no other cars involved and MSP continues to investigate.
Lieutenant Gould is a member of the Lincoln, RI, Police Department, served as a school resource officer for several years, and was well-liked in the community.
