Lincoln WWI Statue to be relocated

A World War I monument in Lincoln will soon have a new home…

Town officials say they will relocate the granite statute from it's location on School street to a more prominent location in Albion Park.

The memorial will serve as a center piece in the newly renovated park.

The statue was originally built in 1918 by the Jacques Cartier Society to honor Albion's veterans.

Officials say it will be moved once the updates to the park are complete.
