Pawtucket Liquor Store Shut Down for Selling to Minor

A liquor store in Pawtucket will close for 21 days, after Pawtucket police caught them in an act of selling alcohol to minors.

Gee's Liquors, at 400 Broadway in Pawtucket, will be closed until Sunday, March 30 after Pawtucket Police sent in an individual posing as a minor, as part of a compliance check to see if the liquor store would obey the law.

The liquor store made the sale, failing the compliance check.

As it turns out, this was not the first time Gee's Liquors has been in trouble for selling to minors, according to Police.

They were ordered to close for 21 days at a City Council meeting on Wednesday.
