Early Friday morning Aaron Hernandez's North Attleboro home was searched by Boston Police. Investigators were seen photographing both the outside and inside. They left after about an hour with out speaking to the media. ABC News has learned Hernadnez is being investigated in a drive by shooting last summer that left two men dead outside a Boston nightclub.
“Were not foreclosing the possibility of any suspect. We're looking at a whole variety of evidence in this case,” Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley said yesterday during a press conference.
Hernadnez was denied bail a second time Thursday afternoon. The football star now sits in a 7 x 10 foot jail cell charged in the execution style killing of Odin Llyod, 27, of Dorchester. Lloyd's body was found less than a mile away from Hernandez's home on Ronald C. Meyer Drive in the North Attleboro industrial park.
“We're going to continue to fight for him and we look forward to the day that he's exonerated,” said defense attorney Michael Fee.
Preparations are underway for Lloyd's funeral. Last night his sister spoke exclusively to ABC News. She says the family is focusing on remembering her brother.
“It's confusing. You know? I don't think there is anything that any man can do to have their life taken away,” said Olivia Thibou.
Meanwhile Hernandez isn't catching any breaks. ABC6 has learned Hernadnez was questioned in yet another shooting incident six years ago while attending the University of Florida in Gainsville. In that case two people were shot. Hernandez was never arrested. The case remains unsolved.
