Local business artist transitions to virtual sip and paint classes

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Paint and Vino in Pawtucket has taken their business into the virtual world.

Before COVID-19, the studio would offer step-by-step in-person painting classes along with a glass of wine or beer in hand. The classes were often held for group events.

Now they are offering all of their same services, live online through Zoom.

This included a special Mother’s Day painting session earlier on Sunday.

The owner says they provide everything you need, curbside, so you can go back home and paint with the artist and the rest of the class.

Rachel Araujo, Owner of Paint and Vino said, “From your brushes to your canvass to your plates… everything you need for the class.  We even give you a tablecloth so you can protect your surface. We do offer free complimentary wine or beer while you paint, and you still get that for the at–home kit.  So after you’ve had your two beverages, you don’t have to drive anywhere.”

The owner says they have received a lot of positive feedback from their customers.

Since there is no time limit, you can keep the paints and once the class is over, you can touch up your painting whenever you like.
