Local nail artist is finalist in international competition

CRANSTON – A nail technician from Cranston is a finalist in an international artistic competition, and if she wins… she’s donating her prize money to others in need.

For several years now, Danielle Constantino has been creating tiny works of art… on nails.

She’s one of 12 artists from around the world fighting to be crowned the Next Top Nail Artist, by Nails Magazine.

Prestige and prize money are up for grabs but Danielle says if she’s the winner, she’ll donate the money to local single moms who need help making ends meet.
“I have a little boy myself, and it’s not an easy thing to raise a child, especially when you’re working full time, so I can only imagine people who have to work two jobs or three jobs to try and keep a roof over their heads,” she said.

Each week the contestants are given a challenge and the public votes online to keep their favorite artist safe.

One person will be eliminated each week until a winner is crowned.
