Los Andes says general manager is ‘fighting for his life’ after motorcycle crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A general manager of a popular Peruvian restaurant in Providence was seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.

Los Andes shared a GoFundMe page on social media looking for donations towards the recovery of 27-year-old Marcelo Rodriguez Villarroel.

Restaurant staff wrote that Villarroel is “fighting for his life.”

The GoFundMe says his family needs help covering his medical expenses, as he is facing a long road to recovery.

ABC 6 News reached out to Rhode Island State Police for more information on the crash and hasn’t heard back.
