Mac Jones suffers apparent leg injury against Ravens

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones had to be helped to the locker room Sunday after appearing to hurt his leg.

Jones went down late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. He hobbled off of the field after being hit by Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell.

In a replay of the incident, Campbell can be seen landing no Jones’ left ankle.

As the quarterback headed to the locker room he could be seen screaming in pain.

According to Ian Rappoport of NFL Network, Jones’ ankle X-rays came back negative after the game.

No further information was immediately released.
