UPDATE: First 2011 Providence Homicide Victim ID’d
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Providence police are investigating the city's first homicide of the year.
Authorities say 26-year-old Princeton Miller was stabbed at a home in the Elmwood neighborhood at about 10 p.m. Saturday night.
Police say the man went to visit someone who lived at the home. The visit turned into a fight and the victim died on the front porch of multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.
The stabbing remains under investigation. Authorities say three people were taken into custody for questioning then released. There was no word on arrests.
