Man, 22, dies after collision with 2 motorcycles, car in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said Sunday night that a 22-year-old man was killed after a crash between two motorcycles and a car.

Det. Theodore Georgitsis said at approximately 6:15 p.m., police and fire were called to the area of Daggett Avenue near London Avenue for a report of a crash involving a car and two motorcycles.

Officials said both motorcyclists, a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were taken to an area hospital for their injuries.

The 22-year-old man was later pronounced dead at the hospital. His name was not released.

Authorities said no criminal charges are being sought at this time and the crash remains under investigation by Pawtucket police.
