Man accused of stealing from Salty’s at Roger Wheeler State Beach arrested

NARRANGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — A Woonsocket man accused of stealing from Salty’s Burgers and Seafood in Narragansett last week has been captured.

The Department of Environmental Management said Lee Gervais, 34, was arrested Monday.

He’s currently being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions.

The alleged incident was caught on Salty’s surveillance camera at Roger Wheeler State Beach.

The restaurant said Gervais smashed a safe, stole tips and paychecks, and damaged window shutters and registers.
