Man arrested and facing drug charges, Norton police say

NORTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Norton police said a man was arrested Friday evening after finding suspected drugs on him.
Norton police responded to Mansfield Avenue at 7 p.m. for reports of a man that appeared intoxicated and trying to drive his vehicle.
When they arrived, police identified Christopher WILD from Roslindale.
After investigating, police found about 4 grams of suspected fentanyl and about 16 grams of “crack” cocaine on the 54-year-old.
He’s being charged for possessing a class A and B drug with intention to distribute.
WILD initially gave police a false name in an “attempt to disguise himself” according to police.
He was held on a $50,000 bond and will be arraigned in court Monday.
