Man arrested for spree of delivery driver robberies

TAUNTON, M.A. (WLNE) — A Middleboro man was arrested Monday on several counts connected to numerous delivery driver robberies.

After noticing a pattern in the robbery reports in the area, police began investigating.

Each robbery was of a delivery driver of several different fast food restaurants in the area. The following list shows how close together each incident had occurred.

1. China Kitchen delivery driver on April 30, 2018
2. Pizza Hut delivery driver on May 7, 2018
3. Domino’s delivery driver on May 9, 2018
4. Papa Gino’s delivery driver on May 12, 2018
5. Papa Gino’s delivery driver on May 16, 2018

The reports from each incident had similar descriptions of the perpetrator, and following further investigation police identified Brian Nunes, 32, as their suspect.

Nunes has since been charged with five counts of robbery, three counts of armed robbery with a knife, and two counts of unarmed robbery.
