Man arrested for unlicensed gun possession after shooting threats in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police said Monday that officers arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly carrying a loaded gun without a license.
Police said Isaiah Steward of Quincy was one of several men detained on Sunday after police were called to a disturbance involving threats of a shooting.

The incident occurred in the area of Fourth and Branch streets.
Police said Steward, who does not have a gun license, had a loaded 9mm polymer pistol.
Steward was charged with unlawful carrying of a large capacity firearm without a license, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, carrying a loaded firearm in public with no license, and trespassing.
