One arrested on B&E and Larceny charges in North Smithfield

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I (WLNE) – North Smithfield police, with assistance from Woonsocket, Medway Massachusetts, and Blackstone Massachusetts departments, arrested a 24-year-old on charges of breaking and entering, and larceny on Monday.

The charges stem from an investigation into the breaking and entering at Lil General on Great Road on October 8th.

The suspect, Carlos Walker was charged with:

  • Breaking and Entering
  • Attempted Larceny
  • Vandalism
  • Obstruction

According to police, Walker was also wanted on an arrest warrant from Medway Massachusetts on charges of attempted murder.

Walker was transported to the North Smithfield police department where he was held until his 10/20/20 arraignment.

Police say Walker was held pending a probation violation hearing and was remanded to the ACI, pending another violation hearing and arraignment as a fugitive from justice stemming from Medway.
