Man bound, pistol whipped during Cranston home invasion

Cranston Police are investigating a home invasion on Milton Avenue where a 25-year-old was pistol whipped and bound with duct tape.

The incident happened around 2;30 a.m. on Sunday morning, when two individuals forced their way into the first floor apartment at 14 Milton Street. There the suspects struck the victim in the face and head with a pistol before binding him with duct tape.

After about a half hour, the victim was able to free himself and contact the second floor residents who called the police. The victim told police that one of the suspects was a former co-worker of his but that he did not recognizes the second suspect.

The suspects stole cash, a gun, sneakers, and video games.
