Man ejected from truck, killed on Route 95 in Canton

CANTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said they’re investigating a fatal crash that happened on Route 95 early Saturday morning.

According to police, at approximately 5 a.m., a 2020 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed.

Authorities said the driver attempted to change lanes when he lost control of the truck.

The truck hit the guard rail and entered the center median, police said.

Police confirmed the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was determined dead on the scene by officials.

His name is not being released at this time as notification of next-of-kin is ongoing.

Police stated no other vehicles were involved in the crash and all lanes were reopened at 9:30 a.m.
