Man found safe after search at Fall River pond, police say

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police said a man was found safe after a search at Watuppa Pond off of Massachusetts Route 24 Thursday night.

An ABC 6 News crew saw first responders using drones and dogs to search the area.

The pond was cordoned off with police tape and a tow truck was called to remove a vehicle.

No further information was immediately released.
