The Massachusetts man accused of selling teens for sex in Providence has been held without bail.

Derek Miranda, of Dorchester, was arraigned in District Court Tuesday on kidnapping and sex-trafficking charges.

Providence Police arrested Miranda Thursday night after a 14-year-old girl escaped his Cumerford St. apartment and got in touch with friends, family, and police.

Police entered the apartment where they found two other teens and a 21-year-old woman.

Miranda was arrested on the spot.

All of the victims are safe.
