PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A 27-year-old man is accused of punching four men and shouting homophobic slurs outside of a club over the weekend in Providence.

Police responded to Snow Street at about 2 a.m. Sunday for reports of an assault outside of the Dark Lady.

Witnesses told police that the man, later identified as Jacob Manning, was inside of the club. There, he was arrested.

Police said the victims told them that Manning came up to them as they were leaving the establishment and punched them, yelling homophobic slurs in the process. They said that they didn’t know the 27-year-old.

Manning is facing multiple assault charges.
