Man recovering after being stabbed in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 31-year-old man is now recovering after being stabbed Friday night.

The stabbing happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the area of Hope Street.

Fall River Police said when they arrived, the victim was found with a stab wound in his back.

The unnamed victim was then taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Police believe the victim and suspect were in an argument that escalated. The suspect then fled the scene before police arrived.

At this time, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information should contact the Fall River Police Department.
