Greg Miller

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- The man responsible for the fatal crash in Lincoln, that killed his fiancé, was seen in Kent County Court on Tuesday.

Gregory Miller, 42, was held on $50,000 bail with surety after giving no plea in court.

Miller turned himself in to police on Monday afternoon around 4 p.m., according to Lincoln Police Chief Brian Sullivan.

He was the fiancé of 34-year-old Nanleomariz Albizu, of Providence, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash on Saturday morning, according to the victim’s family.

Albizu died later that day at Rhode Island Hospital.

Investigators said that the Nissan Altima that the two were in, was driving eastbound on Cobble Hill Road, drove off of the road, went airborne, and hit two telephone poles.

Miller is set to be back in court on March 28.
