Man Sentenced for Deadly 2007 Hit-and-Run
A Pawtucket man was sentenced today for his role in a hit and run accident that left a mother dead.
Laudalino Camara was convicted Friday of hitting and killing the 39 year old mother of three in October of 2007 while she was walking with her nearly 10 year old daughter near their Seekonk home.
Police say Camara had his wife get into an accident the next day to conceal damage to his white SUV.
Today in court, Maria Aguiar's family members gave statements before the judge handed down the sentence.
ABC6 Reporter Parker Gavigan was there and has the details.
