Man sentenced for sexually graphic messages to a minor

A 55-year-old New Bedford man was sentenced on Friday for sending hundreds of sexually graphic Facebook messages to a 12 year old boy in 2012.

In Taunton Superior Court, the judge sentenced David Gould (55), to serve five years in state prison for the charge of enticing a minor, and three to five years for the charge of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor.

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said : “I am very pleased that this child predator will be removed from society. Thanks to the great work of Assistant District Attorneys Wiley and Griffin, along with the stellar police work by detectives with the Dartmouth Police Department, the community is assured that this defendant can do no harm to our children,”
