Man seriously injured by hit-and-run driver in Somerville

Somerville, Mass. (WLNE) – State police in Massachusetts are searching for a hit and driver who left a man with life-threatening injuries in Somerville Monday night.

First responders were called to the scene on Route 28 near Broadway around 8:40 p.m.. There they found the victim suffering from life threatening injuries.

A witness reported the man was breathing heavily and barely responsive.

Massachusetts State Police say they’re looking for a white van with front-end damage, and writing on the door.
