Man stabbed at Crossroads RI Shelter

A fight at the Crossroads Rhode Island, a homeless shelter on Broad Street in Providence, leaves one man hospitalized after he was stabbed in the face.

The victim and the suspect began arguing over money just before 8 p.m. on Monday night. The argument intensified resulting in one man stabbing the other in the face and chest. The victim was taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital with a “severe laceration to the face.”

The suspect has not yet been apprehended.
