Man stabbed several times by girlfriend in Attleboro, police say

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — A 30-year-old man was stabbed several times by his girlfriend in Attleboro early Thursday morning, according to police.

The stabbing happened at about 3 a.m. on Oakdale Street.

Police said the man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, walked into the police department’s lobby, bleeding and limping.

He was bleeding from multiple stab wounds to the arm and foot. His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

After the stabbing, police said his girlfriend, who’s 24 years old and from Rhode Island, fled the area in her car.

She turned herself in and was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, police said.
