Sentencing Today for a Newport man, who faces traffic
charges in a crash in East Greenwich that killed a young pregnant woman. Benjamin Servideo pleaded guilty earlier this month in
traffic court to two violations. Police say, the 24–year–old was fumbling for his wallet when he hit
and killed Sullynette Sanchez on Route 4 in September. Her baby was delivered, and died weeks later.

Family members have been vocal that they believe Servideo
should face criminal charges.

Sullynette's fiance Steven Bustamante spoke out about the crash at Servideo's first appearance in traffic court. He said,”he didn't just kill one person, he killed two. He
killed my fiancé and my son, it's not right, it's not, it's not.”

Loved ones of Sanchez staged a protest outside traffic court
at Servideo's initial appearance.
