Man wanted for shooting of Mass trooper killed in confrontation with U.S Marshalls

(WLNE) – A man wanted in the shooting of a Massachusetts State Trooper was shot and killed after he was confronted by U.S Marshalls.

U.S Marshalls confronted 33-year-old Andre Sterling at a home in The Bronx early Friday morning.

Three deputies were shot during the confrontation, one in the arm, and two in the leg.

Sterling was accused of shooting Trooper John Lennon in the hand during a traffic stop in the Cape in November.
