A jury took 90 minutes to convict Kristopher Griffin in the murder of his 6 year old daughter.

During the early morning hours of  July 24, 2009, Mr. Griffin broke into the
Chilson Avenue home he previously lived in with his girlfriend and their
daughter.

Mr. Griffin then walked into Kaitlynn's bedroom, woke her up and
prayed with her for some time before bringing her into the home's basement where
he slit her throat with a knife, killing her almost instantly.

Griffin was automatically sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole.
