Mansfield police bust convenience store selling THC products to kids
MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Mansfield Police Department said a search warrant was executed on a convenience store after multiple complaints of juveniles being sold THC products.
According to police, they executed the warrant on Mansfield Convenience on Rumford Avenue with the state police illegal tobacco task force, Department of Revenue and the lottery commission.
Authorities said they found the store was selling flavored tobacco products as well as THC vapes, edibles and marijuana to juveniles and adult customers without checking their IDs.
Criminal charges against several people are pending in Attleboro District Court for drug-related and financial related offenses.
Authorities further stated two men were also taken into custody on various drug offenses.
Both men are expected to return to court later in the day Tuesday.
