Market Basket coming to Johnston

Mayor Joseph Polisena and Demoulas Super Markets Inc. are pleased to announce that Market Basket supermarket will soon be coming to Johnston.

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Mayor Joseph Polisena and Demoulas Super Markets Inc. are pleased to announce that Market Basket supermarket will soon be coming to Johnston.

The new store will be located at 1300 Hartford Avenue. Market Basket’s arrival is an integral component in Johnston’s redevelopment and is tentatively scheduled to open next year.
