Masked man robs Warwick CVS

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick Police are searching for the man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy store wearing a surgical mask with a gun in his belt.

According to a Facebook post by police, the man was spotted by a store clerk around 9:15 p.m. sitting in a car with the mask on. About 15 minutes later, he walked up to the front register and lifted his shirt to reveal a gun in a holster.

The cashier complied with demands to put cash from the register into the suspect’s bag, and the suspect exited back out the front door. He fled in his car in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as being in his mid 30’s to 40’s; 5’03” to 5’06” tall; having a dirty appearance with stained blue jeans and a surgical mask covering his face.
