Mass. Takes Step Closer to Bring Gambling to the State
The Massachusetts House of Representatives Approved a bill Wednesday night that would allow three casinos and a slot parlor in the state.
Massachusetts House of Representatives voted 123-32 Wednesday night to approve a bill licensing gambling in the state. The next step is the bill being brought fourth to the Senate.
If it becomes a reality, the state would welcome three resort style casinos, one slots parlor as well as thousands of jobs. The casinos would be located in the eastern, western and southeast part of the state.
