Massachusetts reviewing Rhode Island’s stance on travel order

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) – Governor Charlie Baker says the state of Massachusetts is reviewing Rhode Island’s coronavirus data today to see if the states should remain on its travel order.

Rhode Island was removed from the list of exempt states back in early August.

This means anyone traveling from Rhode Island to Massachusetts has to quarantine for 14 days or provide proof of a negative COVID test for their stay.

Baker did say there are exceptions for things like grocery shopping and healthcare.
