Massachusetts sales tax holiday August 10th -11th

Locals are getting ready to shop till they drop in Massachusetts.

The annual tax-free weekend has come again, Saturday and Sunday shoppers will not have to pay the state's 6.25% tax on items less than $2,500 dollars for online and in-store purchases.

“Item that do not qualify for sales tax holiday are: all motor vehicles, motorboats, meals, telecommunications service, gas, steam , electricity, tobacco products and any single item whose price is in excess of $2,500.”
