Massachusetts State Police investigating fatal two-car crash in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said one person is dead and two are injured after a crash in Mansfield on Route-495.

According to police, the crash was called in just before 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

When officers arrived on scene, they said one victim had already succumbed to their injuries. Two other people were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Officials said the scene was cleared around 6:30 a.m. and traffic returned to normal.
