Massachusetts State Police: remains of infant girl located at Revere apartment complex

REVERE, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police and the Revere Police Department said they’re investigating the discovery of infant remains outside of an apartment building Tuesday night.

Police said the remains were determined to be those of a female infant, who was at or close to full-term, and who0 was likely white or light-skinned.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted a post-mortem examination of the infant today.

The cause and manner of death are still pending and the investigation remains ongoing.
