Massachusetts woman accused of driving impaired, crashing into utility pole

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — An East Freetown woman is accused of driving impaired and crashing into a utility pole over the weekend.

Dartmouth police said a 2017 Volkswagen crashed into a pole on Old Westport Road just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The crash heavily damaged the car and the pole.

Police arrested the driver, 21-year-old Mari McGinn of East Freetown, for suspected OUI.

She is also facing a negligence offense and other traffic violations.
