MassDOT performing work on Braga Bridge tonight

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that it would be performing overnight work on the Braga Bridge Friday.

MassDOT said the operation will perform maintenance and debris removal along the bridge’s curbs.

The work will occur from 9 p.m. Friday night to around 5 a.m. Saturday morning.

The department added that the work will involve rolling roadblocks in the right and left lanes on I-195 eastboun

d and westbound. The roadblocks will be controlled by law enforcement.

Drivers should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
