May chill and showers continue through late week
PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) — It’s wash, rinse and repeat for our southern New England weather this week.
The upper low over the Northeast will continue to spin in cool air and occasional showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
Thursday could be the coolest May 4th we’ve had since 1920! Highs will struggle to escape the 40s that day.
Our upper-air blocking pattern will finally break down at the end of the week, bringing back the sun and seasonable temperatures!
*A Small Craft Advisory is effect for the bays and sounds until Wednesday morning.
