Mayor Elorza & community partners discuss Anti-Violence Initiatives

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Mayor Elorza and community partners will come together to announce steps in anti-violence investments in the city of Providence by supporting young people in Providence with skills and opportunities. The Meeting is at 3:00 p.m. at the West End Recreation Center in Providence.  Mayor Elorza will be joined alongside Councilperson Nirva LaFortune, Providence Police Chief Colonel Hugh Clements, Executive Director of The Nonviolence Institute Cedric Huntley, President & CEO of Mentor Rhode Island Jo-Ann Schofield, Executive Director of Refugee Dream Center Omar Bah,  and Youth Jobs Program Participant Night Jean Muhingabo.
