Mayor Fung, wife Barbara Ann isolating at home after testing positive for COVID-19

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Mayor Fung’s wife, Barbara Ann, tested positive for COVID-19, Monday, after weeks spent as a healthcare worker on the front lines.
It is said she developed a dry cough on Monday morning and was later tested at the Twin River rapid test location.
Barbara Ann remains at home with currently mild symptoms at this point, and will self isolate as directed.
Mayor Fung remains completely asymptomatic, with no plans to be tested unless he develops such symptoms.
During this time, the mayor will work full-time from home and self isolate as well.
This includes broadcasting the State of the City speech and budget introduction Thursday night, live from their kitchen.
