MBTA bus crashes into Boston cemetery

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Boston EMS said six people were injured in a crash that sent an MBTA bus through an iron fence, into Forest Hills Cemetery.

Authorities said the crash happened between a bus and a car Wednesday evening near Morton Street and Forest Hills Avenue.

Officials said three of the injured were in the car and two were on board the bus, along with the bus driver.

Responders said the bus driver only suffered minor injuries.

No further information regarding the crash was immediately available.
