Missing Dartmouth woman found dead in Buttonwood Park

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office on Thursday identified of the body found in Buttonwood Park.

District Attorney Thomas Quinn identified the body as Janet Roderiques, 66, who was reported missing to the Dartmouth Police Department three days ago.

Police said she was last seen walking near State Road in Dartmouth at about 1 p.m. Sunday.

Wednesday, New Bedford police responded to Buttonwood Park where they found Roderiques dead.

No further information was immediately released.
