Missing Mass. teen found safe in Conn.

The teenager reported missing from Martha’s Vineyard has been found and is safe.

Police in Wallingford, Connecticut found 15-year-old Megan Donovan Wednesday morning.

She called her mother around 10:30 Tuesday night, telling her she was sleeping in the woods in Wallingford.

Police say Greg Mooney, the young man she was traveling with, also called a friend on Cape Cod that night, and police were able to track the couple down.

One of the last places the pair was seen was Kennedy Plaza in Providence over the weekend.

Mooney, 20, of Mashpee, is now being charged with shoplifting and risking injury to a minor.
