BAR HARBOR, Maine (WLNE) – Rangers found two missing Massachusetts hikers dead in Acadia National Park on Saturday.

According to a spokesperson with the park in Maine, a man in his late 20s and woman in her early 30s, both from Rutland, appear to have fallen 100 feet from ice covered cliffs on Dorr Mountain.
One of the hikers last spoke with their family over the phone on Thursday.
Family members then got concerned, on Friday, when the pair didn’t check into their hotel or move their parked vehicle.
