Missing Tiverton teen located after week-long search

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Tiverton Police Department announced that the 16-year-old girl, reported missing for seven days was found safe.

Police said Avah Flower, 16, was last seen by her mother last Friday night.

Police asked the public to respect Avah’s family’s privacy given the extreme fear and emotions over the last week.

Authorities said they’re grateful to their followers, citizens, local business and their law enforcement partners who assisted in the search to locate Avah.
