Mondays at McCoy vaccine program continues in New Bedford

R.i. Municipalities To Set Up Registries To Get Covid 19 Vaccine

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) – Mondays at McCoy continues in New Bedford, the program offers CDC approved vaccines and booster shots for qualified adults, as well as pediatric vaccines. Details on when and where to get your vaccines below:

On Thursday, November 18, The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center will be open 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., serving adult vaccines. Friday November 19, The PAACA will be open from 1:00-5:00 p.m. All vaccines will be available as well as the pediatric vaccines.

Saturday, November 20, The Cape Verdean Veterans Association Hall will be open from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with all vaccines including pediatric. The Andrea McCoy Recreation Center will also be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with only the Pfizer and pediatric vaccines.

For Monday, November 22, The Andrea McCoy Recreation Center will be open from 2:00-7:00 p.m. offering all available vaccines including pediatric.

The following day, Tuesday, November 23, will feature three open locations. The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center will be offering all adult vaccines from 9:00 a.m. Former Fire Station 11 will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. featuring all adult vaccines and pediatric vaccines. Finally, Health Imperatives will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with only the Pfizer and J&J vaccines.

Vaccines will be available again Monday, November 29 at The Andrea McCoy Recreation Center from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and all adult and pediatric vaccines will be on hand.

If you are unable to leave your home for any reason, the city and state offer in-home vaccinations. To schedule with the city, the New Bedford Health Department’s number is (508) 991-6199, between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. You will only be able to select Pfizer and J&J.

To schedule an in-home vaccination with the state, call Providence’s In-Home Vaccination Central Intake Line at (833) 983-0485, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
