1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Central Falls

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — Central Falls police said one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Wednesday night.

An ABC 6 News crew on scene saw more than two dozen shell casings were seen littering the ground just yards away from the Central Falls Police Station.

Officers told ABC 6 when they arrived on the scene, they found a man who had been shot, still in his car.

The Rhode Island State Police Mobile Crime Laboratory arrived on scene just before 10:45 p.m.

Information regarding a suspect was not immediately released.
